Most Asked question How to stop Pulling on a Lead

The most asked question is , How do I stop my dog Pulling on a lead ?
Firstly you need to understand a Dog does not see pavements and roads, in there world there walk is ruled by smells and what they can sense.
So instead of walking in a straight line along the Pavement this will allow your dog to follow there nose and pull you to the next smell as the scent is far more concentrated if you are walking by fences and walls.
So this is what to do , you need to make your dog Know you are in charge and you are the person to follow.
So stop change direction put is some sits and cross the roads then walk the dog on the other side of the road for a short time , then crossover again, Keep doing this and with some work and reward training whilst you are out and about your dog will follow you.
You can also put in some waits at the side of a road also stop and chat to people.
This will help you become a Packleader and NOT A OWNER THAT IS PULLED DOWN THE ROAD .
So key things are to change direction cross roads and put in some basic training e.g. sits and waits and you can also do standing waits to , plus talking to people with your dog calm by your side.
